We have a unique florist and greenhouse business, featuring flowers, plants and gift items for every occasion and every day. With our experienced staff of floral designers we can help you create a simple thank you gift or the perfect floral arrangements and bridal bouquets for your perfect wedding! With 11 greenhouses we grow all of our own bedding plants. We specialize in growing unique, interesing annuals and perennials.Our greehouses are stunning! You won't believe your eyes....our hanging baskets are the prettiest in town! We have a large selection of vegetables too!  We have a beautiful tree and shrub lot that is growing and expanding all the time. We also carry bulk mulch, black dirt and rock for pick up or we can deliver it to your home! Our Palm Sunday Open House is a huge tradition in the community. We have our whole store decorated for spring with tours, refreshments, beautiful displays and a petting zoo. Bring your family and enjoy the first breath of spring with us! Another community event we have been hosting for 7 years is our annual FoliOle Fest, a fall festival that is a benefit for our local food shelf. Please bring a donation of non-perishable food items as your ticket in to the best fall event Alexandria has ever seen! Your family will have a blast at all the booths that area businesses set up. Each booth has a different funfilled activity for your children to enjoy. Such as face painting, minnow races, ping pong ball toss, fishing booth, apples on a string, hay rides and much more. This event is always held the 3rd Saturday of October. Don't miss it....call us for details! Also our Home for the Holidays Extravaganza is an exciting time here at Anderson Florist. Our whole shop is decorated for the holidays with everything you need to adorn your home for the holiday season. Our homegrown poinsettias are gorgeous, we have lots of fresh Christmas trees to choose from, beautiful gift items! We have areas set up for you to bring your family in and take your own pictures for your annual holiday photo! Brouse through our winter wonderland, open house is always the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving and is a great start to the holiday season! There is something to enjoy at Anderson Florist and Greenhouse every day of the year. Stop in and chat!

Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $5 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
